Adriano non era un attaccante normale. Era una forza della natura.
1.89 metri di altezza. 90 chili di muscoli. Fisico da bodybuilder brasiliano. E un sinistro che sembrava un cannone.
Quando Adriano tirava da fuori area, i portieri pregavano.
Gol impossibili. Palloni che entravano sotto l'incrocio a 120 km/h. Difensori che lo marcavano in tre e non bastava.

Adriano segna a raffica. Coppa Italia vinta. Inter devastante. Lui, al centro di tutto.
Ma sotto, la tragedia stava già iniziando.
Luglio 2004: morte del padre.
Adriano crolla psicologicamente. Inizia a bere. Depressione. Solitudine. Ma in campo, per quella stagione, riesce ancora a essere un dio.
Poi arriverà il declino. Il peso. L'alcol. La fine.
Ma nel 2004/05, per un'ultima volta, Adriano era Limperatore d’europa.
